Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing or using the Gauraiya mobile application ("App") operated by Cotton to Clothes Technologies ("Company", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms").

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Who Can Use the App

• You must be at least 18 years of age
• You must be located in India
• You must provide accurate registration information
• You must not have been previously banned from the App

By using the App, you represent that you meet all the above requirements.

3. User Roles and Accounts

The App supports four types of users:

• Artisans/Entrepreneurs: Garment makers and tailors who manage their business on the platform
• Buyers: Individuals or businesses placing orders for garments
• Suppliers: Businesses providing raw materials to artisans
• Employees: Staff members added by artisans with limited access

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Marketplace Rules

For Artisans

• You are responsible for the accuracy of your product listings, pricing and availability
• You must fulfil accepted orders within the agreed timeframe
• You must not list counterfeit, prohibited or illegal items
• You are responsible for the quality of goods you produce and deliver

For Buyers

• You must provide accurate delivery addresses and contact information
• Payment must be completed as agreed at the time of order placement
• Cancellation and refund requests are subject to the artisan's stated policy

For Suppliers

• You must accurately represent the materials you offer — quality, quantity and pricing
• You must fulfil procurement orders within committed timelines
• Material specifications must match what is delivered

5. Payments

Payments on the App are processed by Razorpay, a licensed payment aggregator in India. By making or receiving payments, you also agree to Razorpay's terms and conditions.

• We do not store full payment card details
• Transaction records are maintained for compliance with Indian tax laws
• Disputes related to payment failures or refunds should first be raised with us at support@cottontoclothes.com

6. Prohibited Conduct

You must not:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Provide false, misleading or fraudulent information
• Attempt to hack, reverse-engineer or disrupt the App
• Harass, threaten or harm other users
• Use the App to send spam or unsolicited messages
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions
• Engage in price manipulation or fake order placement

Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension or termination.

7. Intellectual Property

The App, its design, code, content and trademarks are owned by Cotton to Clothes Technologies. You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

By uploading photos or content to the App, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display that content within the App for the purpose of operating our services.

8. Offline Functionality

The App provides offline data storage on your device to allow continued use without internet. Data created offline is synced to our servers when connectivity is restored. We are not responsible for data loss resulting from device failure, uninstallation, or deliberate clearing of app data while offline changes remain unsynced.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free or free from viruses. We are not responsible for:

• Disputes between buyers and artisans over product quality
• Disputes between artisans and suppliers over material quality
• Loss of business or revenue arising from App downtime
• Actions or omissions of third-party service providers (Razorpay, AWS, etc.)

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or at our sole discretion with reasonable notice.

You may delete your account at any time by using the in-app option or by submitting a request at cottontoclothes.com/delete-account.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify you of significant changes via in-app notification.
